River City Cruises: An Unmatched Brisbane Experience

River City Cruises operates every day of the week, with tours departing several times per day. Guests can immerse themselves in the rich history of the lands and the city while aboard one of Brisbane’s most well-preserved icons.

The M.V. Neptune is a classic timber cruiser built in Brisbane in 1966 and has been operational on the river for over 25 years. Proudly locally owned and operated, the Neptune offers comfortable indoor areas as well as spacious outdoor and deck areas, making the most of Brisbane’s glorious climate and sights.

Upstairs, the fully covered deck provides unrestricted views of the passing scenery. The indoor area, or galley, has seating for 28 guests, 36 on the top viewing deck, and more on the Bow and Aft Deck. It also hosts photos of Brisbane and Neptune over the years. Sit at the very front on the bow to enjoy a cooling breeze or take a look into the captain’s wheelhouse.

We strive to represent the city to the best of our ability, showcasing what it has to offer from the past to the present and the up and coming. This includes providing an experience with the comfort of morning tea, afternoon tea, or delightful charcuterie boards, delivering an experience refined over many years of operating.
