Combining Two of Brisbane’s Must-Do Activities
The Cruise to Lunch offers you the chance to spend the day with two popular Brisbane identities: River City Cruises and The Breakfast Creek Hotel. Aboard the boat, you’ll enjoy informative commentary about the region and a morning tea to satisfy your onboard cravings. The first part of the morning cruise lasts for 45 minutes until you reach your next destination: The Breakfast Creek Hotel, where you’ll spend the next 2 hours.
The Breakfast Creek Hotel is a well-loved hotspot for both locals and tourists. After a 400-meter walk through the park following the creek from the landing dock, you can enjoy a delicious meal featuring their famous steaks and more. It’s hard to leave with a rumbling stomach!
Passengers are invited to participate exclusively in the private bar for the traditional “Spiking of the Keg” at 11:45 am and will be treated to a sample of the famous “Beer off the wood” along with a bit of a history lesson while enjoying their beer. Afterward, you’ll return to the vessel to continue the second part of the 90-minute tour with more informative commentary as you cruise back to South Bank.

Note: Licensed bar onboard for separate purchases. Some basic extra snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are also available for purchase onboard. Enjoy a decent selection of beer, wine, spirits, cider, and ginger beer.
Please note that this cruise suits groups of 20 or fewer. If you are a larger group wanting to enjoy a cruise with lunch, we recommend the South Bank Combo Pass, which can accommodate up to 65 passengers.
If you find a 400-meter (7-minute) walk and a few steps challenging, you might find our 90-minute options more suitable.

As the licensee, the Operator is bound by the QLD Liquor Act and must abide by the guidelines for the responsible service of alcohol. Please note that it is an offence for individuals to either carry liquor onto the vessel on arrival or from the vessel on disembarkation
DEPOSITS & PAYMENT – Confirmation of a booking is not until a deposit has been paid.
A deposit of $500 is payable upon booking, with the balance to be paid 3 weeks prior to travel. If a
booking is made less than 21 days from cruise date, full payment is required on confirmation.
